My approach is to focus on what I can control - mostly being a good citizen / neighbour / colleague / boss, treating all the people I deal with on a daily basis fairly and with respect whilst I look for opportunities to effect change.

I'm with you there. Posting pithy comments on Bluesky doesn't accomplish anything. My spouse and I went to the Fight Oligarchy rally in Greeley. I felt good for a couple days. Now it's back to the daily shitstorm. Waiting for a leader to step up and there are none.

Did you pay taxes? Did you contribute to the workforce? Did you obey state and federal laws? Did you give to worthy charities for people in need? Did you get vaccinated to protect your family, friends, and neighbors? If you did this and more, then you are a good citizen. Trump and Musk are not.
