First book of 2025 was the surprisingly sweet workplace comedy/drama “I Hope This Finds You Well” by Natalie Sue. Quick and easy to read, characters with good depth and some solid jokes.

Book 2 of 2025, Greekish, by Georgina Hayden. My first foray into reading cookbooks this year, and of course, inspired by our Cretan honeymoon. #BookSky

Book 3, How High We Go in the Dark, by Sequoia Nagamatsu. More sci fi than I expected, but I legit enjoy pandemic literature. Felt weird being jealous of the plague-stricken Earth, though, because of the way folks all pulled together after. Alas.
Book 4, Y2K: How the 2000s Became Everything, by @coletteshade.bsky.social. An excellent mashing of memoir & cultural critique w/ dashes of political, economic & art history, too. I got to talk to Colette for a story (coming soon), too. Even as a Baby Millennial, the nostalgia was strong #BookSky 💙📚
Book 5, Beautyland, by Marie-Helene Bertino. It went from cute to weird to sweet but weird to beautiful and stunning. Read it, feel exceptionally human. #BookSky 📚💙
Book 6, The Ministry of Time, by Kaliane Bradley. It starts with utterly charming slice of life type stuff, and then transforms into a sci-fi thriller. Loved it #BookSky 📚💙
