To me "empathy is bad" is a majority western individualistic development weaved into white supremacy, as they in part are not communal with minority groups beyond themselves (who they lack empathy for) all while still claiming a desire for communal life/living...which they themselves removed.

It should go without saying, but the "empathy is bad" belief only makes a jot of sense if you're a deeply damaged person who's incredibly aggrieved at the world around you.

So they lack a communal aspect with other groups (and themselves), which is what makes them more aggrieved and less empathetic.
