I am grateful to live in the time period that I grew up in.
I grew up in the Civil Rights Era. There was hope for equality for everyone, including women.
My nieces all pursued higher education and have successful careers.

They are so fortunate to have had a community that encouraged them to live their dreams.
We got off the track a bit, but I never anticipated this. And I'm sad that, while there is still a distant hope for the future of my grandchildren, I may never see our country recover

I'm currently torn between us reliving the period from 11/22/63 up to the resignation of Nixon or 1934 Germany.
It honestly depends on the day.
