FNaF fans who deny how convoluted the series' story are the biggest liars of all time because there's no way you think the series where it's required to read a series of spinoff books in order to understand who the main villain of a game with an incoherent plot isn't complicated.

…no, the plot doesn’t make more sense. But why it’s convoluted sure does.
You dont find out anything about the robots being haunted in fnaf 1 unless you pay attention to rare Easter eggs
Fnaf 2 minigames are ultra cryptic and also give you nothing to go off of if you don’t already know
Fnaf 3 and 4 are a lot better at showing you things-
FNaF 2's minigames aren't even THAT cryptic, purple guy murders kids, animatronics get stuffed, jumpscares hint who possesses who, that's kinda it
Solving anything now requires SO much 😭
You don't have to like books, but it's a multimedia franchise there's nothing wrong with having characters from the books.
