my grief basically pulled me under in 2022, when I burnt out and then crashed for a million offline reasons, so I’ve been trying pretty hard to build new practices.

I have a lot of recurring check-in calls on my calendar, I joined my library board & a local writing group, and soon we’ll be doing some NEIS strategic planning.
so I have had a whole learning curve to catch up on the different layers of covid precautions that are available & how to think about risk now and in our futures.
I can imagine a future to look forward to again, but we will all be dealt so much more grief in the process and it costs precious energy to really sit with that.
