@housedemocrats.bsky.social @democrats.org @democrats.senate.gov should call the 24th-Amendment-Violating Poll Tax Act (the SAVE Act) the “Poorly Educated Republican Disenfranchisement Act.” It is a focused disenfranchisement of poorly educated Republicans, the GOP base.
Constitutionally the federal government has no involvement in elections, as it’s expressly stated a right held by the states. This isn’t one to worry about.
Only votes for the rich, white people that you know will support you to protect their intrests. Nothing to do with being elected to guide the country to well being, peace and health for all the people
Religious zealots like the Speaker don’t want women to vote anyway. Voter fraud by undocumented immigrants is a myth and is their ongoing excuse for everything.
