This is long overdue, unfortunately. Roblox has been unsafe platform for children for over a decade. User-generated content has its place, but it ought to be moderated when it is targeted at children.

Sounds good, maybe other companies will continue to try and do what is right for their customers instead of going to the cheapest possible effort as allowed to do by the current people in the government....no regulations remember.
After a decade of being yelled at, they finally made enough money off the back of kids (their parents) that they decided that it was time to thrown them parents a bone.
I don't believe it will change anything until they change a lot more than parental controls. I don't believe they are even trying.
I like the Australian idea where kids can't do social media until they are 16. I am a high school teacher and when students with the problems associated with social media addiction get into the real world, people are going to flip. Blame adults for allowing this experiment on human children.
