Unions and attorneys who represent federal employees are telling workers not to take the offer from the Trump administration to resign from their jobs by Feb. 6 and still be paid through September.

If justice had simply prevailed following the constitution, Trump would not have been president. So if ppl swear an oath to the constitution they are obliged to do everything they can to remove him from office, right?
The unions and attorneys are right. And if I were a federal employee right now, I would make each workday as pleasant as possible for myself and the citizens I serve. I would take advantage of every benefit and find ways to smile and have fun with coworkers. Cultivating happiness is resistance.
Does anybody remember a letter like this that went out at another company recently. Ummm twitter. They shafted those folks out of severance. #fakeleadership
Some of us are single parents living on one income and relying on telework to enable us to make sure we can get our kids to and from school. The fork in the road email also mentioned relocations, downsizing, and the expectation of loyalty. It wasnt simply the deferred retirement "suggestion."
Good luck to you, sincerely. To 🍊Monster family is important and to be in his government family you must kiss the tyrant’s ring. Mafia style family. Namaste
This is a scam against fed workers. tRump routinely stiffs contractors, cities where he's held rallies, and anyone else he feels like screwing. No guarantee that tRump's administration would honor this deal with the employees. He's clearing the deck so he can install incompetent loyalists.
Also, how does paying current workers not to work, and also paying new(incompetent) loyalists to do the same job save the country money?? It doesn't, of course.
Trump stiffs people all the time. You should never accept any deal from Trump & co. W/o payment upfront in general
That being said you should hold the line. You will outlast Trump in your position or sue them for illegal practices which is a sure thing w/ this admin.
Stay strong! USA is with you!
You know the Chief A Hole will stiff them. Don't quit! The one thing no one seems to mention is the fact that so many of these workers have NO OFFICES to return to. With so many people working remotely they were able to sell a lot of the buildings, saving on utilities, taxes etc.
And who would replace all the workers who resign or get fired? Nobody in their right mind would want to work for the federal government while this shitshow is in charge
Why anyone would trust this Trump “deal” is beyond me. He stiffs every worker who has ever done anything for him. He’s the world’s most dangerous LIAR.
I don't know about the price of eggs or stocks going up or down under Trump but legal fees paid for by taxpayers always skyrockets. All the money they purport to save taxpayers gets spent on endless and often senseless legal battles. #MakeLawyersRich(er)Again.
And lose their retirement and benefits? He still thinks he can buy anything. Like a CEO of underpaid workers throwing out a few 100s at a staff meeting of hourly employees with no benefits, to show how generous he is. Yes. It happened. I left the meeting.
They’re not offering buyouts—they’re baiting workers into quitting so they can replace them with loyalists. Unions are right to warn against this. Hold the line, stay informed, and don’t fall for the trap
I think it would be hilarious if a large majority took them up on the offer & left the administration high & dry. Unfortunately it would be the American people that would suffer & the others would hit the golf course w/o a care in the world. I hope that federal workers are able to keep their jobs
Donald Trump is a bankruptcy swamp rat. He has a long history of not paying people including the states he had his KKK rallies in for Republican party. He won’t pay them.😂😂
Read the offer, @npr.org They’re being asked to tender a resignation by February 6 that’s effective September 30. While they *may* be placed on paid administrative leave, they’ll probably work through September 30. There is no “buyout” or severance. Their jobs do t end February 6.
Let us hope Federal workers will remain strong and stay. If not once our diversified, trained workforce leaves Trump will fill their jobs with Magas who sign fealty to him.
So they’re going to pay them to resign through September or not? I’m confused. Is it a buyout, or no? Because this article is suggesting both things are true?

DO NOT BITE!
The buy out is not unlike Trump's famous business practices. Promise much and produce little or nothing!
DO NOT BITE!😱
