The plant, formally known as Ovicula biradiata, is especially notable for being the simultaneous discovery of a new species and genus. It was found with help from the community science app iNaturalist. By @jamesdoubek.bsky.social

I care about national parks and public lands. This admin has shown there will be no guidelines or guardrails in the full implementation of their kleptocracy. The wooly devil is a symbolic example, even if it is never directly affected.
it will only last a week before tech hipsters dig them all up so they can look at something "nice" in the morning as they sip on a 40 dollar coffee. RIP
