I’ve been taking Mounjaro for 5 months. Still working up to the max dose. I definitely notice that food doesn’t initiate the dopamine rush type of stimulation of the reward system that it used to. Like last night I had some peach cobbler. It was like, “This is okay, but nothing special.” May throw
Yes! Chocolate is the one thing that I have to be careful with. It’s a lot easier to have a couple of pieces & stop. But I can’t keep it within reach because it’s the one thing I can mindlessly eat, even when I’m not actually hungry.
I keep my candy dish full of chocolate. I bet I have 5 pieces a day but because I hardly eat anything anymore it hadn’t been detrimental to my weight loss. Mounjaro has definitely retrained my views on food which helped me change to a healthy well balanced diet. When I eat, that is.
