So, I've decided to avoid them in my novel.
Not gonna lie, even as a native speaker, the translator for R&C has me looking up plenty. 🫠 So I get it about the flow interrupting aspect.
But, your novel is your novel, and you get to tell the story how you like. 🙂↕️
