The first "plot all the asteroids" app was World Wide Telescope (WWT) several years ago, which needed a GPU. NASA has a particularly nice variation these days that can run on off-the-shelf hardware. Tilt & zoom and run time forward & backward for Apophis and other comets and asteroids.
