My daughter did her Junior year of college in France. During breaks, she & her friends traveled all over Europe, staying at hostels along the way. Every American kid should do something similar. They'd see we arent the center of the universe. They'd understand our need to be connected to the world.

I’ve enjoyed several trips to the U.S. from the U.K. over many years, visiting 13 states across the country on many road trips. The National Parks and National Monuments are a highlight. Sadly, I can’t see myself wanting to return at all under the current regime.
