Having moved my mom and most of her stuff (still moving odds and ends) into senior living... now it's time to put up her art.
I want to put a picture rail above the egg light but am unsure of basics. How high above the pull cord? Top of hutch or bottom of kitchen cabinet?

A long magnetic level will be handy if you are hanging the ledge yourself.
I understand her art will go ON the ledge. 😅
Ignore the linens, she has like *so many* tablecloth and napkin sets and they're piled there so we can go through them and let some go. This means the egg can actually move right a bit, and give the emergency cord some room.
Placement is... I'm having trouble picturing... arrgh
I am a bit taller, more since she shrunk, and she thinks everything is heavy nowadays, so I'd be doing any switcheroos.
Here I just needed some idea how high above the pull cord and switches, and what length for a picture ledge (width of furniture below, or longer?).
I think it'll have to be aligned at the bottom of cabinet due to the switches.
The Earth is not flat, visually correct is correct.
I’d like a ledge that sticks 2 to 4 inches past the art.
It's ok.
I'll figure it out at some point.
I would use your bookshelf top as the guide. Top of the shelf level with the unit. Centered over the cabinet with the egg light.
