That is somewhat surprising I would've bet on it being a Chromium based browser vs. Safari issue. Did not think of FF being different to chrome. Good that you checked!

Just had to push back some neat UI improvements because I can't get consistent styling of the HTML progress bar in all browsers :(

It doesn't stop at styling issues either: I remember having huge problems with the different domain name parsing between Chrome and FF and that should just be HTTP spec

I remember the IE 6 times too well. Compared to that, today's browser differences are a piece of cake to handle :)

Maybe, but head my warning...browsers are diverging again. What's funny is to see Edge in lockstep with Chrome, which leaves FF, Safari and Brave / Opera to test separately. Hot take: FF is the new IE 😁
