I’m doing some testing for an upcoming video. This Benchy was printed in PLA in about 25 minutes. It was gcode that came with the printer.

Looks like it needs more cooling especially on the bridge(and maybe temperature tuning for filament), it is likely printing too fast for un-tuned machine. A lower resolution or variable layer heights would improve the appearance for the "first print" experience.
I’m learning 3D modeling mostly with Youtube. I’ve built a model in Sketch up I hope to print. I group the elements & scaled down.
Are there other steps prior to exporting as a STL?

I don’t have a 3D printer however I’ve ordered a small print of this model (9”) from an online vendor and expect to receive it any day.
But seriously, did it include what settings were used for slicing, what slicer was used, all that? It's not the best quality but a 25 minute benchy is incredibly impressive.
