Roll the video it on to where Little's trailing leg takes out James. Contact with the ball isn't enough to negate a foul, especially such faint contact that the ball is still within playing distance for James, so even if you discount Little's right leg, the left is still a foul.

The correct play was to stay on her feet and funnel James to where Catley and Williamson were waiting. But it looks like Little feared James was about to do something special, and made a careless challenge.

No VAR would overturn that.
