Science Fiction always had the task to push boundaries further or drop them at all, to see what is behind.
From time to time, a historical marker (like Ruzzias war against Ukraine) appears, and reality beats fiction, based on disruptive technology needs.

2/ The key themes include using mass, cheap autonomous systems to protect small numbers of exquisite crewed military platforms; fully autonomous warfare where autonomous systems attack other autonomous systems; and, autonomous systems transforming to function across different domains.
