There is no such thing as not making a difference, even if we believe it to be a small one. All that matters is whether or not it is a conscious difference.
Reminds me of the story of people forced to harvest potatoes while in the camps. They were for the guards, so the prisoners pricked each one w/ barbs of the fence so they would rot faster. (Don't recall where I heard that/if right)
We don't have to do everything - we just all have to do something.
The fact that people can’t see that Black Americans have been forced into different methods of harm reduction for our very survival & that exp. informed us that we had to vote in a way that would protect the most ppl is baffling. Fucked up is ppl knowing it would hurt everyone and still saying nah
That included WAY TOO MANY black people by the way.
From experience: a Black lesbian woman in her late 20s. A black audio engineer in his late 50’s. A black non-voter in his late 70’s because he hated Kamala and her legislative history against black men…
A black woman non-voter of cuban descent that was upset with Democrats in general. TWO black woman influencers that were upset w the genocide in Gaza… and so on. Of the voters THAT VOTED, blacks were a majority of voting Dem, but are still a part of those groups accountable for President Drumpf too.
