If I had to make one critique of the game, its the narrative through-line of "Let's not worry about this threat, and go have a picnic/go see a relative/go do X."
It's not unique to this game, but its really on the nose in Veilguard to the point where characters physically say it verbatim.

Just always makes me laugh given the scale of the threat usually in the MSQ. Feels like someone has yet to come up with a great narrative solution for going on side adventures.
