I was actually with it all the way until the sharks. How would you fill the coliseum with water? How would you transfer the sharks there? How would you then drain the water so it’s bone dry by tomorrow? Just no.

They did actually flood the Colosseum to stage naval battles. Sharks likely arrived via a sharknado, my best guess. Cheers

It also made me appreciate how much Russell Crowe being an incredible actor held Gladiator together. Paul Mescal was not very good.

Unfortunately this is our lot in life now. Not a single great movie will escape the sequel/review cycle. Can't wait for Godfather part 4 or "Corleone", the prequel
