Tell Congress: Instead of passing an overreaching and unconstitutional TikTok ban, they should solve the real problem of out-of-control privacy invasions by enacting comprehensive consumer data privacy legislation.

They know...their only problem with Tiktok is that its not exclusively America doing it, its someone else.
One thing you learn when you live outside the US, is that American leadership is driven largely by the ego of being the only one allowed to do evil things.
The TikTok ban is just about keeping dollars from American eyeballs in America. YouTube and Facebook want their piece of the action, and competition — real competition — is bad for duopolies.
So TikTok's gotta go.

Privacy violations are only bad if it's not US companies and politicians profiting from it.
It's the Chinese government and a Chinese company.
We'd still have to find a way to stop the Chinese government from stealing our personal data.
