A "scale" would be beneficial in providing the ability to comprehend the site of the event. That goes for all the beautiful images of space events whose extent are difficult to grasp.
That's a very valid point ... what I wonder is how comes we don't get to experience hight rate of supernovas...I would expect to see alot based on the fact that is billions of stars ...did they all did at once 🤣🤣🤣..I know they did not but anyway

That light comes from past times that are billions of years apart They appear equal but most of the stars we count died out millions of years ago.
Most of what we see is gone.
