JWST sees in infra-red wavelengths only, so everything we see from it is necessarily false colour. But that's cool, because it's showing us interesting things that we can't see in visible light 😎👍
We can see them on our planet right? It’s caused by the interaction of solar particles with a planet’s magnetic fields, so the ones on gas giants in particular are super striking and very much visible.
How is our universe so impossibly beautiful? We can’t be the only sentient life forms in it. It’s just too incredible to be left for only humans to enjoy.

What happens to solid materials when engulfed?
Is it crushed to atoms and erased as an object, like a black hole?
Vaporized by intense heat?
Melted in reaction from caustic atmosphere?
