We vastly overestimate how much the average person sees any of this. Yeah. I've been an "engaged" voter for over 10 years or so, and "we" think there's a lot of "us" & it ain't true. Some people have a grade schooler's level of engagement with national and especially local politics. And this feeds fascism fat.
