Me, a summer of 94 MTG player, when someone finds new love in a game I am finding less love with over time.

I said this on the forums but I think the difference between MTG and stuff like Fortnite is the thought that goes into how these cards play mechanically. It’s not just another Funko Pop. What’s cool is how the rules of the cards manifest the story.

The magic players I knew until I was like 30 kept me from playing magic for decades because all they did was argue about rules! They all told me different versions of the same rule and argued everyone else was wrong and never finished playing a game. I now enjoy learning with my husband.
