For every “like” this post gets, it will receive a like. This will amuse me, and since I’m currently waiting for my son’s music practice to end, I’ll do whatever I have to to pass the time. 🙂

I don’t know that I would recommend a book to a complete stranger. I’d have to at least get to know them a little before venturing a guess as to what they might enjoy. I have however seen people holding books I’ve liked and said things like “that’s a good one.”
Fair enough - so the complete stranger is me, and to let you know a bit more - I most recently read and enjoyed Between Two Fires by Christopher Buehlman and Wounds by Nathan Ballingrud - both horror. I love Asimov's Robot series but am really willing to give anything a go, I just want to read more
I haven’t updated it for 2024 but I do list books I’ve enjoyed on my Goodreads pg (linked below). In December I also post my fave reads of the year on Instagram. And in general, it’s always a good thing to read books by underrepresented authors, and indie books. https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/76366175?shelf=a-few-of-my-favourite-reads
