Honestly yeah. 3D Sonic especially is built around being fast, flashy but accessible. Makes the jump to Musou very easily. And given the sheer reverenece Koei Tecmo puts into their Musou crossovers, it'd probably be sick.
As for Black Knight...well I've said before that combat in a Sonic game could work...if it wasn't awkwardly grafted onto whatever formula they've already got. So when you take Secret Rings template, have LESS platforming and a bunch of Wiimote combat, the result LOOKs awesome but feels mindless.
And it's sad because you can tell they were trying way harder than they needed too for a budget Wii spinoff. The presentation, the soundtrack the cutscenes, the wealth of bonus content. It's such a lovingly made package.
The only thing that doesn't land is the actual core gameplay.
