I have been soooo cold lately. I've got chilblains! Couldn't believe it when nurse said that's what they were. Off on travels in 🤸♀️💃probably 2 weeks. I'm buying the most ridiculous stuff to hopefully keep warm at night 🙃😂
Rich had those a few years ago - but then he's always walking around the house barefoot, even though we have stone and tile floors. Makes me cold just thinking about it. I have a pair of trainers for inside as they keep me warmer than slippers. 😄
I'm probably similar to Rich. Mum had Raynaud's phenomenon. I've always had purple feet and hands because I can't feel them I just wander around but never had a problem till this year when started getting infected toes, sorry 😬. Wearing 2 pairs thick socks now & aware of cold hands
I don't have Raynaud's but I've always had poor circulation and cold hands and feet, hence the trainers. I wear double thickness walking socks all the time too (unless we're going somewhere I need to wear formal shoes. I've seen the consequences of bad circulation & infection so I'm mindful of it.
Sensible Justin, I wish I'd been, because they were so numb I've been very careless up until now. This has been a wake-up call, Chilblains really hurt and the infection is real. Taking more care from now on!
