When Soap was first assigned to Ghost the man absolutely hated it. He didn't want a hybrid in his life sharing his room and following him everywhere. But there was something about Ghost that just drew Soap in.

Almost too well, it got to a point where they knew what the other was thinking just from a simple glance. Soon enough they were glued to each other's sides, no one could separate them. The one solo mission Ghost was assigned to was a disaster.

He could barely focus through the mission and didn't end up completing his objective. Soap on the other hand fell ill with a mystery virus that seemed to clear up when Ghost got back. After that their files were marked do not separate.
