Yoshida never uses the crossed fingers he always had to up until this point to summon and command octopus in this chapter. Instead of summoning tentacles using the gesture that appear and act independently of him, he sprouts a tentacle directly from an open palm.

small details like these are hard to tell their importance but since gestures have been used before for devil contracts then it makes sense pointing it out
