I always like to point out to anyone trying to make excuses for the Rebel battle flag that it's used in place of the Nazi flag in nations that any Nazi symbolism will get you arrested.
I saw a post on reddit today asking how people felt about their country/place of birth, and my first thought was basically this lol. Genuinely and wholeheartedly, fuck america. Won't even capitalize it and give it respect because they took out any respect it deserved by enforcing all kinds of bs
i am a black trans guy furry and this country built on the suffering of minorities within it and around the world has caused me and others so much pain and suffering, especially as someone who is a victim of systemic racism. i know this is cringe furry art but I will put myself out there
i still want the America i was promised with all the equality and human rights and cool stuff that i learned about when i was a lad (when history class would straight up lie to you)
My grandpa used to have the same flag in his room, I'm honestly disgusted that I ever slept under it. I now sleep under the other flag that's next to the bunny emoji c:
