Ok but ending with moving past wokeness is peak current political satire. People thinking that having proper representation of anyone that isn't cishet, white and non-disabled/neurotypical is "woke" instead of you know, using art to capture the stories of real people captures our times very well.
I will say in all seriousness I find a lot more beauty and comfort in the way that queer/trans artists draw/describe bodies than many cishet artists. There is such realness and tenderness that it captures opposed to the way that many cishet people objectify bodies.
The focus on the way that most of the mainstream media has captured bodies for most of history of needing to fit into the very strict and ridged body standards is not only problematic but most of the time does not really capture true beauty for me as someone who is non-binary gay and ace-spec.
