Mandatory security clearances for elected officials to participate in Parliament are problematical for a liberal. democracy. There are reasons it hasn't been made a requirement.
Keep in mind the Poilivre insists that he does not want access to national security intelligence.
And if it’s something parliament addresses in its first week, if it indeed is what it takes to enforce an action for an existential issue, then so be it.

TBC: any MP who is has a need to access national security information, including the PM, should have the appropriate level of clearance.
