@voxpelli Cause it isn’t possible since Bluesky demand that you are logged in? Or?

I’m personally just tired of the unavailble Bluesky stuff filling up my feed so I’m thinking about just muting everything Bluesky for now.

@kolombiken For some reason my replies on Bluesky didn’t get carried over to here 😵‍💫 It’s an option that people can opt into and eg @jasnell.me has now removed it + bridged his account

@kolombiken So eg @ivory, @openvibe and similar could opt to do rich embeds of Bluesky posts by consuming them from the Bluesky source instead – eg Ivory already does this for Mastodon posts to emulate quoting

@voxpelli But this isn’t about an app. It’s the same if I’m using Mastodon in the browser.
Like I can’t get to the Bluesky content in any way.

Why would Ivory be able to consume something for me that I can’t access manually? Can apps get special permissions?
