Not sure how deep you want to get into therapy under routine conditions, but considering how much academic psychotherapy research is under attack for relying too much on highly selective RCTs, you might even get into the topic of practice-based evidence.

Appreciate the plug. FWIW, while I still think the credibility angle remains important, I think it has to be embedded alongside synthesized metrics corresponding to other kinds of quality-control features (e.g., inclusivity)--not an easy task.

Bit off-topic but have you ever looked into Bareinboim&Pearl's data fusion approach? I think it's a refreshing view on the whole problem of synthesizing studies that are very different.
