Resource Recovery announced Tuesday that it has enacted a new fee structure of $20 per rejected ton of recycling, with a maximum of $250 per load. Previously, a contaminated or rejected load cost cities and towns a flat fee of $250.

why not demand the plastic manufacturer’s take responsibility for recycling?
make them pay for those contaminated loads and maybe they’ll start using easily recycled glass.
whatever glass isn’t unrecycled can, once again, become welcomed beach treasure… and free to pick up.
