Goofiest I've heard - an anesthesiologist paid for the hit to draw public attention to Anthem's proposed limits.

The ASA has been posting about the issue since mid November, but afaik the issue didn't get much attention till after the shooting on Dec 4.

Anthem retracted that proposal on Dec 5.
