PG&E needs some incentive to maintain its facilities because I keep hearing about disasters that proper maintenance could have prevented. I live in South Korea where utilities are run as "public corporations" that are owned by the public but operated at arm's length from politics.

Hello, I am this man’s supervisor & I can confirm that is indeed our policy at Giga Power Corp to use “out of order signs”. However, we’ve recently upgraded our signs to use 15% more fossil fuels in the polymer saving us .001 for every sign while making them 500% more flammable.
