I saw some workers in "CVTS" (Conduent Victoria Ticketing System) vests fiddling with the one at Upfield and I asked if I could take a photo before they put the cover back on and they said "No" "Not yet".

supposedly the system will be able to support some special fare products eg. scan the QR code for your event ticket and it gives you a free trip but we've yet to see anything that suggests govt will do it

It's a good idea but I do worry that scanning QR codes off a phone can be a bit finicky. Could slow things down?
