Someone needs to tell PG it's ok to retire, get surgeries needed, and give that body a break. But hell, if the Sixers want to keep all the olds and waste more of Maxey's years, fine with this C's fan.

Past time. If surgery is needed, then go get it now. Keeping their pick is the priority right now. Also, might be time to look at coaching options. I'm not putting it all on Nick but they do not play for him and he has done nothing to steal a game or two with the depleted lineup.

Dude is on $60m a year and even if you shut him down this year, there’s no guarantee for next year, there wouldn’t be something else with that knee or ankle or face! His body can’t take the rigours of professional sports anymore. This is who he is and the best thing is to manage it.

I'm surprised a Morey-led team hasn't yet shut everyone down to try to increase chances of keeping their pick. The difference between having no first-round pick (goes to Thunder unless it's top 6) and having a top 6 pick is pretty significant. More significant than making the play-in.

Shut them down. I believe it’s time to move on from this whole “Process”. Keep Maxey but put everyone else on the market. Get whatever value you can now. Embiid ‘s body will only keep declining as he ages.
