You will ~not~ believe how much better games run when you finally realise you accidentally hit the Power Saving Ultra Eco Graphics Card Eject button on your laptop half an hour ago and set it back to normal

This reminds me of when I finally figured out how to get an HDMI cable working for the first time in the middle of playing Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando in the HD Collection. The jump in visual fidelity was HUGE, even in just an upscaled PS2 game.
lmao for me thats literally doing anything on my laptop
performance mode is basically required to do anything more intensive than watching a 1080p youtube video
My pc was on eco mode instead of performance for some reason. And the fans were set to powersaving instead of smart.
And physx was running on my cpu not my very expensive graphics card.
It feels like I have a brand new pc having fixed all that the last few days. 🤣

I'm being serious.
This fixed issues in at least 3 games I play, including a controller lockup i'd get in FFXIV if my controller disconnected

"Weird, it's running a little slo-"
[You might want to plug in your pc]
As I recall, it was this view specifically.

I didn’t realize I had plugged my monitors into the A380 instead of the 6900XT. I then played some BO6
Given everything, it ran okay… immediately swapped the cables back when I noticed.
