Of importance there, I carefully looked through it. There was an open package that had a picture in a frame of a guy on a motorcycle with a much younger woman. There was also several official looking letters from an insurance addressed to a woman who lived in a city not far from me… 2/

This was back in the day when there were actual phone books, so I looked her up and found her number and her address was the same as in the letters. I called the number and she had some kind of secure voice mail where you had to announce your name before she’d pick up. Naturally she didn’t know… 3/

Who I was so I left a message telling her I had these letters. She called me back and explained she and her husband were divorcing because he had an affair and had had a baby with the woman. That’s who was in the picture. He was the person who’d used the loaner vehicle before we did. She didn’t.. 4/
