Recently learned trade among Canadian provinces is regulated and difficult.
As much as I love Canada & spending time there, this is the dumbest thing I've seen, even before trump's threats. As bad as the US is, "trade" between states, we call it delivery, is seamless. (No French labels required.)
Why haven’t the Feds, provinces, unions or manufacturing associations launched coordinated “Buy Canadian” ad campaigns? It’s in all our interest to encourage this as much as possible.
It's not needed here in BC. We've turned into zealots. I'm just afraid it's going to be a temporary emotional thing instead of true & permanent, but we'll take what we can get. Most important is strengthening ties with the rest of the world & increase of domestic trade - and fast.
It's always been the way it should have been. Buy from your own country, anywhere except the US. This bullshit tariff threat has now reminded everyone to do it. We got mad, and thankfully, it united and reminded us #wearenotgoingback

Ford Government has reinstated the $100 million Starlink deal with Elon Musk. After what Canada just went through, what is he doing? There are alternative Canadian companies. He ripped the deal up on the front page and reinstated it on page six. Get the Ford out!
Of course not. Canadians are probably the biggest consumers of Canadian goods, especially food and drink. It’s just that we’ve always included products from other countries.
Now there’s just more urgency to pay attention and buy Canadian first.
