Warren Zevon was born on January 24 in 1947. He’s been gone 22 years and would be 78. I don’t usually go in for wishing happy birthday to dead people, but occasionally I’ll mark a day and not post It before midnight because I’m enjoying a sandwich.

I was listening to this album when my roommate called stating she was going into labor. I rushed to the hospital, high as a kite. But the album is stamped in my brain forever.
