I've stopped beating myself up by comparing my work to other skilled artists that draw oodles better than me. I work two jobs, so I have to be kind to myself and my efforts. The rate that I learn will be slower. Time is a precious commodity, and I'm doing my best with the time that I have.

People who are seemingly blazing through and learning a lot will have to slow down eventually- and catch up on their mental health and responsibilities, as they may not have given themselves such kindness and beat themselves up. It all balances out.
Like rn thinking about once April hits I just focus on purely improving/practicing.
