I remember 2.00 per hour and 5.25 per hour. 7.25 was after I graduated college. Then I made 9.25 per hr as an RN in Texas. 1988.

A new 1976 Monte Carlo was 5000 dollars. Think about that for a minute. I made 2 bucks an hour. How long would it take for me to buy one if I had to pay rent, buy food, living alone?
