You download the app, log into whichever social media you want to connect (Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon I think? I don't have one so 🤷🏻) and it'll show you a combined feed of everyone you follow from those platforms in addition to giving you the option to post to all at once.

You can link your Bluesky, Threads (and Mastodon, if you have it) accounts and post stuff to all of them at the same time

However, with Threads there are some limitations (the big one, at least for me, is that it can't search handles so you have to know the account beforehand that you want to tag)

Yeah, I am admittedly new to it so there are probably some limitations I haven't thought of/encountered yet 😂 but it seems fine for what I intend to use it for anyway

I used it for a little while when I was trying to use both. It worked well in most cases.

The only issue you’ll have is with photos. If it’s landscape, it will post correctly on threads but get turned into a square on BlueSky.

Also gifs don’t work on BlueSky at all so don’t even bother.

Just make sure you only use one hashtag.

Good to know about photos, I noticed gifs get messed up in cross-posting which I guess makes sense since they have entirely different gif keyboards.

It's an app you can download to craft posts for multiple platforms at once. Pretty easy to set up, you just log into each account you want to connect and you're good to go.

Well *sigh* when I try to add my bluesky account it says "Cannot authenticate with Bluesky server. Please try again" after about 5 attempts.

How do add your Threads?

Huh, that's really weird, I guess I must have connected my Bluesky first and added my Threads after because I didn't have any errors or issues. I seem to remember needing to put .bsky.social to get that account to connect but I don't remember anything special for Threads.
