Surely Rashford must have an agreement with another club because it’s so daft to suggest his time at United is over otherwise. Who else will come close to matching his salary? And how can he be sure that this club will pay United’s asking price?

I can't see him at a European team. I'd have thought he'd have been perfect for PSG a few years back with the sports washing opps he provides, but they seem to have gone a different direction. La liga? Probably not. If he goes to Saudi at 27 it's obviously all about the benjamins from here on out.
Totally agree with this. It's a different market to a few years ago where you could imagine PSG picking him up. Who would today? Relatively expensive(especially salary wise) and potentially past his best? The only team that could be crazy enough would be Saudi or Chelsea...
It feels like a huge gamble. Is it his ego that presumes it’s going to happen? Or has he been given reassurances from United and his new destination club? He surely can’t be thinking of a Saudi move at this stage of his career? But who else could guarantee the money? It’s odd.
Can’t help but feel he’s going to look back on this decision to speak out and regret it. It’s unnecessary, even if he wants a new challenge. Just do it when the opportunity arises. He’s made everything awkward now.
It seems he is being influenced, possibly by his PR team more than anyone else. Sad he hasn't been able to find any real form for two years, but no-one bigger than the club.
We do need fixing and he does not appear to have any answers
All perfectly reasonable as an assessment. Yet on Monday anonymous sources at United told the guardian that Rashford was for sale with a price noted. We both know how it works. That wasn’t an accident and provides some context.

They just made it harder for themselves since United's position in negotiations will be severely weakened and they'll only be able to accept Saudi.
Could see under previous setups that Utd would offload him and partially pay his wages to help.
Not sure I see that happening under Radcliffe.
